Foxconn to Build New Plant in Southeastern Wisconsin

Recently Chairman Terry Gou of Foxconn Technology Group (Hon Hai Precision Industry Group Ltd.) visited Milwaukee, Wisconsin to sign a memorandum of understanding and commit his Taiwan-based electronics manufacturing company to invest billions of dollars in the state.  Foxconn plans to invest $10 billion in Wisconsin by 2020.

For the third month in a row Wisconsin has lead the five states that make up the Chicago Federal Reserve region in economic growth. The data comes from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and shows the state leading by .12 on the Midwest Economy Index (MEI).

Wisconsin Tourism Supports Economic Growth and Development

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism recently reported a revenue increase of over $700 million, a 3.5% increase, from the Fiscal Year 2015. Of this, more than 20% of the revenue generated by tourists from national and international destinations came from the greater Milwaukee area.
