2017 U.S. OPEN Comes to Wisconsin

From June 12th to the 18th the 117th U.S. Open Championship will be held at the exclusive Erin Hills golf course in Erin, Wisconsin. Erin Hills will join a long list of elite courses around the country where the event has been hosted since beginning in 1895. The championship will welcome the world’s best players and is considered to be one of the preeminent golf events. The U.S. Open is slated to attract more than 30,000 spectators from around the United States and the world.  Historically, this event has played a major role in providing an increase in revenue to local hotels, restaurants, and businesses. It is estimated that this year’s event will support the community and surrounding areas through more than $130 million dollars in revenue.  At the U.S. Open the United States Golf Association (USGA) will provide the ultimate test in golf to identify the best players.
