USCIS Requested to Continue Holding Pending Petitions

IIUSA Sent a Letter to USCIS Requesting They Continue to Hold Pending Petitions to Protect Good-Faith Investors

Wednesday, January 12, 2022 - In an effort to protect good-faith EB-5 investors, IIUSA sent a letter to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) requesting the agency continue its 2021 policy to hold any pending immigrant investor petitions or applications awaiting EB-5 regional center program reauthorization.

IIUSA President, Bob Kraft and stakeholders within the industry and on Capitol Hill, are confident in the progress being made towards program reauthorization and feel assured that the EB-5 program will soon see reauthorization. Accordingly, Bob Kraft and IIUSA continue to advocate for the protection of good-faith investors during this time.
