Eric Waldron
Director of Finance
Eric Waldron serves as Director of Finance at FirstPathway Partners, where he leads corporate finance and the financial execution of the Company’s EB-5 investment platform. He oversees financial reporting and controls across FirstPathway Partners, its EB-5 funds, and project entities, with responsibility for capital deployment tracking, project loan closing and administration, and borrower and banking relationships.
Eric is a Certified Public Accountant with more than 20 years of experience in corporate finance, accounting, treasury, and internal audit. He began his career with Ernst & Young, an international public accounting firm, and spent the next decade in public accounting and consulting roles with Arthur Andersen, KPMG Consulting, ManpowerGroup, and Baker Tilly / Wipfli LLP, serving clients across commercial real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and banking.
Eric then led governance, risk, and compliance for Johnson Controls before spending more than a decade as Chief Audit Executive for The Marcus Corporation, a NYSE-listed, real estate-intensive public company, where he advised the Audit Committee, CFO, and Board on financial reporting and enterprise risk. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance, Compliance & Administration for Renaissant, a SaaS transportation-technology startup, leading treasury, financial planning, and regulatory compliance functions.
A veteran of the U.S. Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and a graduate of the Army’s elite Ranger School, Eric brings the discipline and leadership he developed as a paratrooper to his work in finance. He serves as Treasurer and an Executive Committee member of Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, where he established the organization’s investment program and built its financial reporting infrastructure.
Eric earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee’s Lubar College of Business, and holds a Certificate in Project Management from The George Washington University. He is based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is an active Certified Public Accountant in the State of Wisconsin.
