The Global Water Center received the “Best Public/Private Partnership” award by the Milwaukee Business Journal. Additionally, the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown received “Best Hospitality Development” by the journal. These FirstPathway Partners’ EB-5 funded developments were 2 of the select recipients this year. News of the winners was first released in February and we covered that story here.
Over 50 nominations were received for the 2014 Real Estate Awards this year, up from last year. Mark Kass of the Milwaukee Business Journal noted, “The revitalization of the neighborhood south of downtown Milwaukee also caught the attention of the judges for the Milwaukee Business Journal’s Real Estate Awards. Instead of choosing one development for our Project of the Year as we’ve done in past years, the judges wanted to recognize all the recent development activity in Walker’s Point. There is a definite energy in the neighborhood, fueled by the massive renovation of the building that houses The Water Council.”
Each nomination was meticulously critiqued and the final decisions were based on the development’s financial success, merits, and its impact on the community.
FirstPathway Partners congratulates Milwaukee Marriott Downtown, The Global Water Center, and all of the other 2014 Real Estate Award winners.
