Monday, November 12, 2018 - IIUSA shared their latest report featuring key processing statistics from the last fiscal quarter as well as year-over-year changes for Form I-829. As IIUSA indicates, there are a growing number of I-829 fillings, increasing numbers of pending petitions and a jump in I-829 denial rates in Q3 Fy2018.

Highlights on I-829 Petition Processing
- Filings & Adjudications: The number of I-829’s filled in Q3 FY2018 grew by 4% to nearly 1000. This number represents the highest filing level in program history and is representative of the increasing number of EB-5 investors who are eligible to remove their conditions on their temporary green cards.
- Approvals & Denials: USCIS approved 414 I-829 petitions in Q3, 27% less than the previous quarter and a 52% year-over-year decline.
- Approval Rate: The average approval rate of I-829 petitions in the previous quarter dipped to 87%, the lowest rate since Q1 2017.
- Pending Petitions: As of the end of Q3 their were a total of 7,818 petitions pending with USCIS the highest level in Program history.
