Ambassador Andre Schaller, Consul General of Switzerland in New York, Fabian Stiefvater, Head Swiss Business Hub USA in New York – Federal Department of Foreign Affairs/Switzerland Global Enterprise, and Claudine Haeni, Swiss Trade Commissioner in Chicago, visited the FirstPathway Partners project.
The meeting was successful in uniting Wisconsin with Swiss firms that have operations here and with a Wisconsin firm with operations in Switzerland.
Building the relationship between Wisconsin and Switzerland will strengthen and create future partnerships, which opens the door to discussions on what synergies may exist between the two regions' respective water initiatives. The Water Council has a global mission and is looking to continue expanding its reach by securing new international partners.
