From June 18th to the 20th SelectUSA hosted its annual Investment Summit. This year’s Summit took place in Washington D.C. and highlighted the innovative business climate and opportunities in every corner of the United States. The Summit also provided many opportunities for global investors to engage with state, regional, and local economic investors. SelectUSA is a government-wide program that has facilitated billions of dollars in foreign direct investment (FDI) and has played an essential role in creating highly-compensated jobs, spur innovation, and drive exports. They work with more than 20 federal agencies and bureaus, including United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), to increase coordination and provide guidance to respond to specific and broad-reaching issues. FirstPathway Partners’ expertise in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Visa program, a form of FDI offering a pathway to citizenship, has created valued jobs and spurred innovation. Projects like the Hampton by Hilton, the Kimpton Journeyman, and the Global Water Center are just a few examples of our success.
