Response to USCIS EB-5 I-526 & I-829 Data

On June 19th, 2017 USCIS published data sets titled “Number of Approved and Denied Forms I-526, Immigrant Petitions by Alien Entrepreneur” and “Forms I-829, Petitions by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status” by USCIS Designated Regional Centers for the period beginning January 1, 2014 ending May 31, 2017. As President of Invest In The USA (IIUSA), Bob Kraft has had discussions with a number of regional centers throughout the United States, all of whom are reporting discrepancies in the record of approvals and denials, including our own.    FirstPathway Partners strongly supports USCIS transparency and disclosure of data and information to immigrant investor stakeholders. However, the dissemination of inaccurate records causes irreparable harm to both regional centers and stakeholders alike. As we work to bring positive economic change to communities throughout the United States, the ripple effect of flawed premature reporting causes negative ramifications on the integrity of the EB-5 program and participants for years to come.   As of late evening June 21st, 2017, USCIS has taken down the data set and is reviewing inquiries regarding the previously posted statistics. FirstPathway Partners looks forward to full EB-5 stakeholder disclosure, once the data has been corrected.
