Milwaukee to Host Global Water Center Summit

From May 23rd to May 24th the Water Council will host its 10th annual headline event in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The theme of this year’s event is “Where Water Works.” This Summit brings together leaders from the US, Japan, Mexico, France, Canada, and South Korea, leaders and experts who are truly at the heart of water security strategy. Honorary guest Charles Fishman, author of The Big Thirst will lead discussions along with other individuals from academia, non-profit organizations, private industry, and government.Throughout the conference four sessions narrow in on: Cyber Security, Environmental Security, Diplomatic Security, and Organizational Security. Events at the summit not only host experts in the field; they are also a “collision point” for professionals looking for new technology, talent, business growth opportunities, and inspiration. These discussions have been made possible through strong connections with non-profit organizations, industry, government, and community support. It is no mistake that the city of Milwaukee is home to the Global Water Council. Milwaukee sits on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan and was deemed well equipped to “take the lead” as a World Water Hub - a title bestowed upon the city by the United Nations in 2009.FirstPathway Partners is proud to be at part of such innovative projects.
