Global Water Center Celebrates 5-Year Anniversary

September 12, 2018, marks the 5th anniversary of the Global Water Center (GWC), a FirstPathway Partners EB-5 project.  To commemorate these past 5 years, Governor, Scott Walker, offered a toast to the Global Water Center’s journey, most recent successes, and to making Wisconsin a leader in clean water technology. You can watch Scott Walker's toast here

The GWC was most recently recognized as a global hub for water technology and research and is the first commercial office building in the world to earn this distinction.  The SCS Global Services, a leading international third-party certifier of environmental claim, announced the GWC met the requirements of the Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) International Water Stewardship Standard. It's the first-ever comprehensive global standard for measuring responsible water stewardship across social, environmental and economic criteria. Milwaukee’s regional water technology industry (supported by The Water Council) was also recently named by The Brookings Institute as one of the best industry clusters in the nation.

FirstPathway Partners would like to congratulate the Global Water Center and thank everyone who helped support the innovation and hard work behind this I-829 approved project, which has continued to gain recognition as an award-winning project whose success has been bolstered by outstanding media coverage received throughout the last year.
