Foreign Executives Visit Global Water Center
The Center recently received visitors from 12 countries, all curious to witness firsthand Milwaukee's innovative water technology cluster. The executives represented Canada, Latvia, Germany, India, Poland, China, South African Consulate, Consulate General of Pakistan, Business France, British Consulate, and the Japan External Trade Organization.
Dozens of media outlets have written about this project, praising the Center's efforts and community involvement. Some of those media outlets include the Business Journal, Yahoo! Finance, CNN, and Forbes. The Center has received numerous awards, notably The U.S. Small Business Administration Regional Cluster Award, Milwaukee Business Journal 2014 Real Estate Award, and the Excellence Award from International Economic Development Council.
The Global Water Center's attention comes from its inventive solutions to the nation's leading water issues, its commitment to researching and providing education on water, and connecting the research community with water-related industries. The Center has coalesced the leading water technology cluster in the United States and serves as one of the most powerful in the world.
