EB-5 Regional Center Program Extended

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 extends the EB-5 Regional Center Program through June 30, 2021.

Tuesday, December 22, 2020 - The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021 extends the EB-5 Regional Center Program through June 30, 2021. This clean extension rides on the federal budget and does not include any changes to the EB-5 program.

Unlike previous extensions, this extension decouples the expiration of EB-5 Regional Center Program from the federal government budget and September 30th end of the fiscal year.  While this is yet another short term extension, we are hopeful that an opportunity for EB-5 as standalone bill, decoupled from the federal budget, will lead to a long-term reauthorization, providing stability for investors today and into the future.
