DOS & USCIS Resume Visa Processing

On April 12, 2022 the U.S. Department of State (DOS) announced it has resumed processing all visas associated with the Regional Center Program based on approved I-526 Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur. Clients may resume paying NVC fees, filing DS-260, and requesting re-foils of expired immigrant visas from the consulate. Please contact your attorney. In addition, we have already begun receiving interview notices for previously canceled interviews.

On April 13, 2022 the U.S. Department of State released the May Visa Bulletin. All countries are current except for China which has a final action cutoff date of November 22, 2015 and a date for filing cutoff date of December 15, 2015.

In response, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) issued filing Charts for May 2022 opening Chart B - Dates for Filing to qualifying applicants for I-485 Adjustment of Status, including both approved and pending Regional Center Form I-526, Immigrant Petition by Alien Entrepreneur. This is a rare window. If you have an approved or pending I-526, your priority date is current on the below chart, and you are living in a lawful status in the USA, we urge you to reach out to your attorney as soon as possible to see if you are eligible to file I-485. We do not know if this opportunity will continue to be available in June.

Together we can maximize 2022 EB-5 visa usage. Advance your visa application process today.
