BMO Tower Begins First Floor Foundation Pour

New activity stirred up attention at the BMO Harris Bank Tower site on Tuesday, July 31, as contractors began pouring what will be the first above-ground floor. As the Milwaukee Business Journal reports, the 410 cubic yards of concrete poured out during a four-hour period and will become the deck for the 25-story building’s main lobby - a restaurant and retail branch for BMO Harris Bank. You can read more on this exciting news here.

This is the second major concrete pour for the new building, since early June, when construction crews completed a 20-hour foundation pour, meeting another key milestone in the building structure. The BMO Tower is scheduled for completion in late 2019 and will add more than 380,000 sq. feet of Class A office space in downtown Milwaukee.

Tim Gasperetti, VP of Design and Construction Administration for Irgens, commented “The first above-ground deck pour was scheduled for July 31 more than a year ago. It’s important to hit the date because the deck must be poured before other work can be accomplished,” he added.

FirstPathway Partners is excited by the impressive amount of progress and the opportunity to work with Irgens, a national leading commercial real estate solutions firm. We look forward to sharing future milestones with all of our stakeholders, investors, and partners.
