August 2018 Visa Bulletin Reports on Final Action Date for Mainland-China and Vietnam Born EB-5 Applicants

Last week, U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs released the Visa Bulletin for the month of August 2018 revealing a cutoff date of August 1, 2014, for Mainland-China and Vietnam born visa applicants which remained unchanged from the July bulletin.

Mainland Chinese and Vietnamese born petitioners who filed I-526 petitions before August 1, 2014 are eligible to schedule interviews with Department of State Consular offices and obtain  immigrant visas to enter the U.S. or apply for adjustment of status if  already in the U.S. Final action dates for other countries remain current, allowing qualified applicants from other parts of the world to move forward with obtaining their EB-5 visa.
