April Visa Bulletin Reveals Five Week Advancement for Vietnam-Born Applicants

Wednesday, March 20, 2019 - The U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs released the April 2019 Visa Bulletin which reveals a final action date of September 15, 2014, for Mainland China-born applicants and a cutoff date of August 22, 2016, for Vietnam-born applicants - a five-week advancement from the previous bulletin.

According to IIUSA, as of April 1, 2019, Mainland Chinese and Vietnamese investors who filed their I-526 petitions on or before the new cutoff dates will be eligible to schedule interviews with Department of State Consular offices and be issued conditional immigration visas to enter the U.S. or apply for adjustment of status if they are already in the U.S.

Action dates for other countries remain current, allowing qualified applicants from other parts of the world to move forward with obtaining their EB-5 visa.
