Adjudication Trends & Times

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is posting its slowest I-526 and I-829 processing times in the history of the program. In March of 2017 processing times for both forms advanced only 11 days.

Petitioners who have submitted their applications before the date shown on the IPO’s page may expect that their petitions are being processed. Though, it is not clear how long the actual adjudication process will take. As of March 31st 2017 I-526 petitions filed before September 20, 2015 can expect a wait time of 18.6 months. The wait time for I-829 adjudications is currently at 30 months for those who filed before October 12, 2014. According to previous statistics this is a 63% increase from March of 2016.

FirstPathway Partners continues to make every effort to keep investors and all EB-5 stakeholders up to date on current trends. Due to long wait times, investors should take the necessary steps to ensure their continued eligibility to work, travel, and verify legal status.
