The groundbreaking ceremony for Hampton Inn & Suites West Allis was held Tuesday, October 28th. Along with the team at FirstPathway Partners, various city leaders and officials were in attendance, contributing to the exceptional turnout.
Pete Helland, Managing Partner of Stand Rock Hospitality, said this about the project: "The location is convenient for both business and leisure travelers with easy access off of I-94 and a prime location near the Wisconsin State Fair and other area attractions. We are confident it will be extremely successful with state-of-the-art amenities and outstanding hospitality and customer service.”
The 4-story hotel will boast over 100 rooms and will come equipped with an 8,300 square foot conference center, indoor pool, spa, exercise room, business center, lounge, and restaurant.
Located across the street from the ever-popular Wisconsin State Fair Park grounds, which welcomes nearly 1 million guests every summer, the hotel will be just the second hotel for the city of West Allis. It will also be near the Wisconsin Exposition Center, Petit National Ice Center, Milwaukee Mile, and Miller Park.
Construction has begun and is expected to be completed by August 2015.
