Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) and The Water Council hosted H.E. Andriana Supandy, along with Vice Consul, Mr. Darmawan Hadi, Economic Affairs, Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Wijayanto, Director, Indonesia Trade Promotion Center – Chicago, and Ms. Yanie Anggraini, Deputy Director, Indonesia Trade Promotion Center – Chicago.
The Consul General, along with his colleagues, had an opportunity to tour the Center, experiencing the innovative facility, which has coalesced the leading water technology cluster in the United States and is one of the most powerful in the world.
Consul General Supandy's visit contributed to the ongoing communication and cooperation between Indonesia and Milwaukee. The Indonesia Consulate also met with the Milwaukee Metropolitan Association of Commerce (MMAC) and a number of water technology businesses that reside inside the Global Water Center. The goal was to identify and explore possible synergies.
