The past few months have provided guests of the luxury hotel, Milwaukee Marriott (Downtown), with a new American-style cuisine by the East Town Kitchen & Bar after a renovation and rebranding of its restaurant formerly known as Millioke. On November 13, 2018, the new eatery opened as a fresh change to tie the restaurant to its Midwestern roots. As seen on BizTimes, the rebranding features a new interior layout and an updated menu specializing in local cuisine, with items like meat and cheese boards and Wisconsin-based craft beers.
Mark Foster, East Town Kitchen & Bar general manager, commented: “What’s better than to go with (food/beverages) where we are located to really showcase our presence here in Milwaukee.”
Also featured on Visit Milwaukee, the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown continues to be an award-winning full-service hotel combining all the luxury and convenience expected by Marriott. Opened in 2013, and situated in the heart of East Town, the Milwaukee Marriott Downtown Hotel is walking distance to the cities top attractions, such as Lake Michigan, Milwaukee Art Museum, Public Market, Pabst Theater, Cathedral Square Park and Summerfest.
