USCIS Correction: I-829 not Credit Card Eligible

FirstPathway Partners recently learned that a previous announcement made by USCIS contained an error that has since been corrected. USCIS made the error known in the following statement:

On Feb. 14, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that we will accept credit card payments for 41 fee-based forms processed at USCIS Lockbox facilities. Unfortunately, the announcement mistakenly included Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status. We have since removed the I-829 from the list because it is not among the forms processed at a USCIS Lockbox.

Please continue to file the I-829 at the California Service Center.  Please note that service centers are not able to process credit card payments. See the I-829 webpage for more information.

FirstPathway Partners encourages anyone with questions to contact us or reach out to their respective immigration attorney.
