Megan brings a long history of professional and international experience to FirstPathway Partners. Having traveled the world extensively, she has a great love and understanding of many cultures. From 2009 to 2012, Megan lived in Shanxi, Taiyuan where she taught English as a Foreign Language and helped to create further opportunities for cultural exchange between the United States and China. During this time she developed her Mandarin Chinese skills and has reached intermediate proficiency.
In 2012 Megan attended the University of Portsmouth, UK and received a Masters of Arts in Applied Linguistics. Using her degree, she taught English as a Second Language at the university level where she was also tasked with curriculum and program development. Megan also served as the main point of contact as international students navigated the international admissions process. Additionally, her attention to detail and persistent manner made her a vital resource for students applying for student visas, petitioning USCIS for change of status, requests for extensions, and re-instatements.
Megan’s skills, clear communication, and professional experience serve to further the FirstPathway Partner’s mission, and deliver exceptional support to clients.
