Joshua Morby has more than 20 years of experience working with business leaders, members of the media and elected officials.
Morby’s public affairs client portfolio has included politicians, non-profits, small and mid-size businesses and Fortune 500 companies. His work includes building coalitions, connecting business leaders with government and helping all types of organizations and investors navigate the ever-changing world of today’s media and political environment.
A graduate of UW-Stevens Point, Morby spent the early part of his career as a staff and freelance writer for a number of print publications in Wisconsin including the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and the Wisconsin State Journal. He transitioned from journalism to politics when he served as the campaign press secretary for Ed Thompson’s historic bid for the governor’s office in 2002. Mr. Morby then served as a spokesperson for Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle.
After serving in the Governor’s office, he began working as a public affairs adviser for a number of companies specializing in the Midwest’s energy and economic development sectors. He has successfully served the needs of Wisconsin’s largest utilities, ethanol and bio power producers, solar companies, commercial real estate developers and healthcare professionals in a variety of capacities.
