The Global Water Center featured in U.S. News & World Report

On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, The Global Water Center, a FirstPathway Partners EB-5 project, was featured in a U.S. News & World Report stating that Milwaukee has transformed into a global water technology hub. The Global Water Center was most recently awarded the Alliance Water Stewardship and was named by The Brookings Institution as one of the best industry clusters in the nation.

As the U.S. News & World Report notes, Milwaukee has positioned itself as an undisputed global water hub with existing resources – such as Milwaukee's previous status as America's brewery, home to beers made there and swilled everywhere – playing a big role. The large breweries have mostly left but the ancillary pieces, and the educational infrastructure that trained engineers and others skilled in the industry remain.

President & CEO at The Water Council, Dean Amhaus stated "Lake Michigan and the Milwaukee rivers that feed it account for a piece of the cluster's success."
