US Investment Emigration Gains in Popularity Rapidly

[JoongAng Ilbo] American investment immigration applicants are rapidly increasing due to shorter processing time (less than one year) and lack of limitations such as age, career and/or English ability.
Major immigration programs such as RCI and Natchez Casino are providing a stable return on investment.
The decline of the American real estate market after the world-wide banking crisis has recently trended towards recovery. With the liberalized requirements on U.S. immigration law, interest in American investment immigration (EB-5) has grown increasingly. According to recent data released by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration in 2008, 1,433 people had settled in the United States through the EB-5 program, among them, 693 were Korean, which is close to half. Within the 2009 fiscal year, there was a 30% increase of Koreans over the previous year, which shows increased interest in investment immigration among Koreans.
The largest factor in the increased demand for EB-5 petitions is shorter processing period, and lack of limitations such as age, career and/or English ability etc. Unlike other countries' investment immigration programs, EB-5 allows investors to reside in any area of the country regardless of the investment area. They may also be employed. This is highly attractive to Korean prospective investors who hope to immigrate to America.
Permanent residents may have their children attend public school at no cost; in addition, children who go on to public universities only pay ¼ the registration fee of Korean international students. Because of this benefit, EB-5 is widely becoming popular among many Korean parents.
U.S. investment immigration program (EB-5) was developed to stimulate the US economy and to create employment through $500,000-$1,000,000 investments in Target Employment Areas (TEA) by foreign investors. Programs such as RCI and Natchez Casino are gaining in popularity.
The RCI FirstPathway Partners program was created to encourage investment in the Wisconsin, especially in the city of Milwaukee and its neighboring area. Investments come from external investors who wish to immigrate to the U.S. RCI First Pathway Partners has successfully facilitated over 5,000 immigrant investors from over 50 countries with 100% return on investments to date.
Natchez Casino ensures a safe investment for foreign investors, because the City of Natchez has been actively supporting the development of its local economy and growing casino industry.
Macquarie Consulting Corporations (MCC), one of the leading immigration companies in South Korea, will hold a U.S. immigration seminar on the 21st and 28th of September at 2pm. This seminar will provide information on the easiest and fastest way to acquire a U.S. green card, with a professional analysis from MCC law group on various investment programs.
The representative of MCC Holdings, Jiwook Ha, states that "The seminar will be beneficial because it will provide a comparative analysis of the U.S. investment immigration program, trends in world investment immigration, the latest information on regional centers in the U.S. and a chance to consult face to face".
