Joseph KleinJoe Klein, Chief Investment Officer

Joe Klein has a Bachelor of Science in Economics with two concentrations in finance and real estate from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.  

He worked as a financial analyst and new deal originator in Wall Street’s most well respected commercial real estate group, Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group.  His role as financial analyst included underwriting, financial modeling, and deal structure analysis for the investment bank’s commercial real estate lending and equity investments group.  His analysis of projects was instrumental in the approval and closing process within the investment bank’s credit committee.  As new deal originator, Joe Klein was successfully able to pursue new clients and new projects with a keen eye, understanding the intricacies of a good deal.  While at Lehman Brothers, Joe Klein pursued over $1 billion in commercial real estate loans and equity investments and closed approximately $350 million.

Joe Klein was brought on to FirstPathway Partners in the role of Chief Investment Officer to find, underwrite, and close all of FPP’s investments.  His experience as an underwriter and deal originator at the Wall Street investment bank provides him with the knowledge and knowhow to pursue prudent investments and negotiate deal structures to protect FPP’s investments.
